How to Submit

Your Work

1. Email your poem to: [email protected].

2. We consider poems in any language, maximum 700(-ish) characters.

3. Include your name or pseudonym as you want it printed.

4. We’ll email you the PLOP issue your poem is published in. We’d be grateful if you’d print out a few copies and spread them around!

5. By submitting, you agree to the following licensing agreement:

   
   You submittal is an original piece which you wrote. You agree to allow PLOP to publish this poem, credited to you, in a single issue of PLOP. No other rights are assigned or transferred beyond this, and you retain full ownership of the original work as its author.

Questions & Answers:

1. Can I submit more than one poem?
   Yes. Submit as many as you like.

2. Can I submit a poem that is already published elsewhere?
   Yes, publication in PLOP is not exclusive.

3. How long will it take for me to hear if my poem is accepted?
   Generally we'll be in touch in less than 2 weeks.

4. When will my poem be published?
   If accepted, we'll let you know when we expect to publish it.

5. Can I see my published poem in PLOP?
   Yes, we’ll email you the issue when it releases. We’d be grateful if you’d print a few copies out and share them, or maybe leave a few at your favorite hangout.
